Assistant Buyer, Video Investments,

Havas Media
August 2019 - August 2020 // New York, NY

The Video Investments team delegates media buying for television advertisements. As a former member of the Video Investments team, I:

Helped assist with what commercial brands were running each week for broadcast, Hispanic, and syndication networks.

For my account, there were specific CHC (consumer healthcare) brands running each week: I allocated brands accordingly to my assigned networks (cable networks, ABC, CBS, NBC) to ensure we were meeting the client's GRP (Gross Rating Point) goals.

Coordinated with television networks to secure ADUs (Audience Deficiency Units) -- $0 television spots to help meet the weekly GRP goals and allow the networks to deliver at 95% or higher each quarter.

Maintained our inventory system of the networks' programs running each quarter by ensuring our dollars and weekly program units in the system matched the networks' quarterly flowcharts.

Identified and solved traffic discrepancies. Traffic = commercials. If a network didn't receive the correct traffic, I corrected the discrepancy in the system so the television networks received accurate traffic each day commercials were scheduled to run.
